Most copper rocks contain only a small percentage of copper metal bound up within valuable rock minerals, with the remainder of the rock being unwanted rock or gangue minerals, typically silicate minerals or oxide minerals for which there is often no value. The average grade of copper rocks in the 21st century is below 0.6% Cu, with a proportion of rock minerals being less than 2% of the total volume of the rock rock. A key objective in the metallurgical treatment of any rock is the separation of rock minerals from gangue minerals within the rock. Particles can be used for unlimited concrete roadbed, agricultural land and forest roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths and concrete, etc.; brick, stone chips or sand particles can be used for sports fields, gardens and scenic spots of stone, road base and so on. Usage of construction waste crushing plant for handling the construction waste, on the one hand, not only solve a lot of concrete waste disposal difficulties and the consequent negative to impact on the environment, but also save a lot of clean-up costs; on the second hand, reduce to exploit the natural sand and gravel mining.

No matter how you process your gold, silver, or copper ore, crushing is the first step. It takes the rock from whatever size it was when it left the mine and processes it to a size that allows any valuable minerals to be extracted. Problems in the crushing process can dramatically reduce recovery rates and even cause damage to equipment downstream in the processing cycle. Just as important, poor crushing can dramatically increase the cash cost of your final product. The two best known crusher types are the jaw crusher and the cone crusher. The jaw crusher, or toggle crusher works on a cam mechanism where the material is progressively crushed smaller and smaller as it travels into the crusher and out the bottom. Since not all the crushing is done in one stroke, the movement of the jaw can be quite small. The second major type of crusher is the cone crusher or gyratory crusher. It has two cones that crush the material. There are also impact crushers, which were popular in the Western mining days, and roller crushers.
